Stop feeling stuck in your career.
"It's not that bad," I tell myself during the morning commute. I enjoy a comfortable salary, and my kids have opportunities I never had. Isn't that what matters most? Providing for my family. Sure, I don't love my job, but I'm doing what I need to do. Or am I?
I just watched my boss hand over another exciting project to someone younger and less experienced than me. I know they trust me, but I can't shake the feeling that they're protecting me from new challenges. I'm craving something more—something that will reignite my passion. And, if I'm honest, a small part of me wonders if that spark will ever come back.
Every night, I sit on the couch, sipping wine, feeling frustrated with myself for not taking action. I know I need a change, but the thought of starting something new is overwhelming, and I'm paralyzed by fear of the unknown. Where do I even begin?
Picture yourself grabbing coffee before work with a fellow leader who seeks your insight, because they're eager to understand how you've consistently driven success with your team.
Imagine sharing lunch with your CEO, exchanging insights, and walking confidently into the boardroom together, ready to tackle the afternoon's most important meetings.
Imagine lying in bed on a Sunday night, feeling invigorated and confident, not dreading the week ahead but excited about the opportunities to build on your success and make an even bigger impact.
I'm a career coach based in both Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Brisbane, Australia, and I consider myself fortunate to have the best of both worlds. Specializing in career transitions, leadership development, and personal branding, I work with mid- and late-career professionals to help them achieve clarity, confidence, and success in their careers. My diverse background spans military leadership, corporate leadership, sales success, and entrepreneurial ventures, which enriches my coaching approach.
After founding Robyn's Couch, I met Bob Britz, the founder of CareerCOACH Services. I immediately recognized the strength of his methodology, and together, we've grown CareerCOACH Services to 30 offices around the world, helping over 11,000 clients. I continue to lead Robyn's Couch today, focusing on executive coaching for clients ready to transition from management to upper leadership roles.
My coaching philosophy is grounded in three key principles: honesty, courage, and strategy. I believe in aligning careers with personal strengths and values, which is why I use assessments to ground the work I do and help reveal any blind spots, providing a clear path forward for each client.
Whether you're navigating a career transition, seeking to elevate your leadership, or refining your personal brand, I'm here to guide you every step of the way to achieve the success you deserve.
