In accordance with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, Robyn’s Couch is committed to maintaining the strict confidentiality of all client information.

All information shared within coaching sessions, written communications, or related materials, including personal, professional, organizational, or proprietary information, is treated as confidential and protected with care.

Client information is not shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties without explicit client consent, except as required by law or as outlined in the limits of confidentiality below.

Clients acknowledge and agree that coaching is a collaborative, client-driven process designed to support clarity, self-awareness, strategic thinking, and goal attainment.

In alignment with ICF standards, clients understand that:

• Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or medical advice
   
• Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions
   
• Clients are fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, and results
   
• Clients may discontinue coaching at any time
   

When appropriate, referrals to licensed professionals may be suggested.

Consistent with ICF ethical principles, clients recognize that they are responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being during and after coaching sessions, including choices and decisions made as a result of coaching.

Coaching is designed to support insight and forward movement, not to replace professional, legal, medical, or therapeutic services.

Confidentiality may be ethically and legally breached only in limited circumstances, including:

• Reasonable belief of imminent risk of harm to the client or others
   
• Legal obligations requiring disclosure
   
• Court orders or lawful requests from authorities
   

In such circumstances, confidentiality may be suspended only to the extent necessary to comply with legal and ethical obligations and to support safety.

• Job applications, employer platforms, and third-party services referenced or shared through Robyn’s Couch content are accessed and managed directly by the client.
   
• Robyn’s Couch does not collect, store, or access client application data, resumes submitted to employers, or third-party hiring systems.
   
• Clients are encouraged to review the privacy policies and terms of any external platforms they engage with independently.

Robyn’s Couch may use AI-supported tools solely as business and administrative aids, consistent with ethical coaching practice, human oversight, and the confidentiality standards outlined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

AI-supported tools may be used to:

• Assist with drafting, editing, and refining written materials
   
• Organize information and support workflow efficiency
   
• Enhance clarity and accessibility of educational or informational content
   

Robyn’s Couch prioritizes the protection of client information and uses enterprise-grade AI and technology platforms designed to support strong data protection standards.

Where AI-supported tools are used:

• Platforms are selected that offer enhanced privacy and security controls, including contractual commitments that data is not used to train public or third-party AI models
   
• Client information is handled with care and is not intentionally submitted to AI systems in a manner that would compromise confidentiality
   
• Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are applied to reduce the risk of unauthorized access or misuse
   

In alignment with ICF ethical principles:

• AI tools do not replace human coaching presence, judgment, or decision-making
   
• Coaching insights, guidance, and reflections are grounded in direct client engagement and professional expertise
   
• AI is not used to evaluate clients, assess mental health, determine hiring outcomes, or automate coaching decisions
   
• Human oversight is maintained at all times when AI-supported tools are involved
   

Robyn’s Couch is committed to transparency, ethical use, and responsible adoption of technology in support of high-quality coaching services.

In alignment with ethical transparency standards, Robyn’s Couch discloses affiliate relationships or referral arrangements when applicable. These relationships do not influence coaching outcomes, hiring decisions, or the integrity of client support.

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect evolving professional standards, regulatory guidance, or business practices. Any material changes will be communicated clearly and promptly.
